- >Subscription Status — Whether you have an active Wordly Pro subscription, managed through Apple's StoreKit framework.
- >Usage Data — Aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics such as the number of improvements used. This data is stored locally on your device.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- >We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
- >We do not require account creation or login.
- >We do not collect precise location data.
- >We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.
- >We do not track you across other apps or websites.
03How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- >Provide and improve the text improvement and translation service.
- >Process your subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system.
- >Store your preferences locally for a personalized experience.
- >Diagnose technical issues and improve App performance.
04Data Storage and Security
- >Local Storage— Your preferences, usage history, and writing history are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
- >Text Processing — Text submitted for improvement or translation is sent to our AI processing service, processed in real time, and not retained after the response is delivered.
- >Payment Data — All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials.
05Third-Party Services
Apple (App Store & StoreKit)
We use Apple's StoreKit framework to manage subscriptions. Apple processes all payment transactions. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
AI Processing
Text you submit is sent to a third-party AI service for processing. This data is:
- >Transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- >Used solely to generate your requested improvement or translation.
- >Not used to train AI models.
- >Not stored after processing is complete.
06Data Retention
- >Device Data— Writing history, preferences, and usage data remain on your device until you delete them (via Settings > Clear History) or uninstall the App.
- >Submitted Text — Text sent for AI processing is not retained after the response is generated.
- >Subscription Records — Managed by Apple. We do not maintain independent subscription records.
07Your Rights and Choices
Delete Your Data
You can delete your writing history at any time within the App under Settings > Clear History. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
Manage Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or within the App under Settings > Manage Subscription.
Opt Out
Since we do not collect personal information, track you across apps, or use advertising identifiers, there is nothing to opt out of. You are in full control of the data stored on your device.
08Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
09International Users
The App is available worldwide. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your text data in the country where our AI processing service operates. We ensure all data transfers use encrypted connections.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
